Welcome to the outsiders test drive meme! You can use this post to tag with characters you're interested in bringing to the game or who you'd like to try out in the setting.


Please set all threads in one of three areas: the landing zone, where your character get off the shuttle upon arrival; the markets, where your character might run into any of the station's alien population; or in the residential district they'll be staying in.

There's a lot of weird stuff on Omega, weird even for Rachel, but weirder still is a single bird of prey perched up somewhere in the station, because it definitely doesn't look like it belongs here. And it definitely looks familiar. She peers up at him, knowing that a hawk's good hearing will be able to pick up on her voice even from a distance.

"Tobias? Is that you?"

IT'S A BIRD. IT'S A PLANE. WAIT NO JUST A BIRD.

[ marco is minding his own business, dragging around a pyjak on a leash. the pyjak has a dog tag around its neck that reads 'JOEY RAMOAN'.

he's been on omega long enough to know to keep an eye out in as many directions as possible while he's wandering, including up, so he spots the bird. but probably not before the bird spots him, since hawks have way better eyes than puny humans.

he does only the mildest of double-takes, though, and just keeps walking, mumbling to himself. ]

Man, that's one lost bird.

[And there's another bird -- sort of bird -- sitting up on a high spot above one of the shops, staring at the other bird. He hadn't seen any sort of wildlife since arriving and happening across something like this creature felt... strange. Clearly, they are both not enjoying this situation at all. Ankh has no idea why he's drawn to speaking to the other, but it's as close as he'll get to his own kind. Even if there was another Greeed on the station, he wouldn't have spoken to them.]

Stupid, isn't it? Expecting us to survive in a place like this.
