[ actually chuck isn't having much luck at said next stall either. he's been making his way through the market trying to find anything remotely like a help desk, an embassy, or a currency exchanger so far he's gotten some blank looks (which coming from a face with four eyes is just this side of terrifying), profanity regarding his preferences as well as all of his female relatives' preferences and at this stall, the owner sniffing at him.

chuck blinks. chuck takes a very deliberate step back. ]

Okay. Uh. Not sure what you're doing... I mean you're either going to compliment me on my natural manly musk or you're considering what herbs would go well with my roasted body. [ very slowly like he's afraid to talk too quickly or make any sudden movements. he takes another step away and nearly runs into solona ]

Whoa! Hey sorry uh. If you're going there - [ widening his eyes at her and then jerking his head to indicate the stall he'd just retreated from with laudable (laudable ok!) speed ] Don't.

[ that is some awkward exchange there between the strange man and the even stranger alien. as he runs (yes, run!) toward her, she reaches out to steady him before he knocks them both on to the ground. ]

It's alright. [ she shoots the offending stall a look. ] I saw what happened.

Either you smell like roses and sunshine, or he has a rather personal way of saying hello. I think I'll take my chances else where.

Personal space seems to be a dying concept these days.
