Welcome to the outsiders test drive meme! You can use this post to tag with characters you're interested in bringing to the game or who you'd like to try out in the setting.


Please set all threads in one of three areas: the landing zone, where your character get off the shuttle upon arrival; the markets, where your character might run into any of the station's alien population; or in the residential district they'll be staying in.

[ He's not here, either.

Truth be told, Lightning's not really sure where here is. The important thing was that when the elevator doors opened, it hadn't been on Palumpolum, and she'd been alone.

She doesn't know if Hope's even here. Everyone who'd been dumped out of those shuttles looked just as lost as she'd felt. But if he is, she's going to find him.

She doesn't think about the alternative.

So for now, she goes from one stall to the next, looking for any sign of the kid, trying to find someone who looks like they've got a clue. ]

[The wonders of an aerial view--flying in jet mode, Starscream saw a human wander about.]

You look lost.

[He bluntly called down to her.]

[ She can't actually tell where the voice is coming from, and that alone puts Lightning on her guard immediate, hand going to the hilt of her gunblade. ]

Who's there?

[distortedscream]

You can't hear my voice from above? [Sighs.] Be calm, I may look...strange, to you, but I mean no harm.

[He angles his descent, transforms, and lands at his feet, a safe distance away from the human.]

[hauteclaire]

[ ...yeah, about that. Lighthing's dealt with enough unfriendly mechs that she doesn't hesitate to draw her blade, taking a defensive stance. ]

I've heard that one before.

[distortedscream]

Really? Didn't think it would be that common a thing. [Have sarcasm and quickly transforming back to jet mode and flying off, circling at what he considers a safe distance.]

[neverknocks]

[ York's just running errands, picking up a few things for Wash and her while she's out, but when she almost bumps into Lightning it's not hard to notice that she doen't really have any idea where she's going. York stops, giving her a slightly concerned frown. ]

Hey, uh -- you need help? You look kinda lost.

[hauteclaire]

[ Lightning jerks back and out of her space, every muscle tense. The longer she wanders around here, the more lost she gets. She can find her way back home, all right, but here? It's hard enough to find her way from one street to the next. ]

I'm-- looking for someone.

[ The words come out harsh, almost cold, but even Lightning can't mask the worry beneath them. ]

[neverknocks]

[ York just raises an eyebrow, because she's used to cold, okay. ]

Yeah? You got a description? Maybe I've seen 'em.

He's just a kid. He's got a green scarf, orange jacket. And a boomerang.
