outsiders test drive meme! You can use this post to tag with characters you're interested in bringing to the game or who you'd like to try out in the setting.

[he's been wandering around for a bit, and though he hasn't really come to the landing pads since he'd found himself here, once he hears that voice, it's pretty much all he can do to see if it's true or not.

because having only himself and carolina from the same universe while their supposed teammates are from some other one? he'd really like to know that he hasn't gone insane, that the world hasn't ended, and that texas stays the same no matter what universe.

he approaches her carefully, because the last time he'd seen her, she and carolina had pretty much been at each other's throats - but that, of course, had been on the mission to bring ct back, and since it had failed ..

he doesn't know how to do this other than to simply open his mouth and start.] .. Tex? What are you doing here?

[ the guy she'd been threatening takes his chance to scurry away when she turns at the sound of north's voice. granted, he's not her favorite person - no one is her favorite person - but he's someone that's familiar, that might know what the hell they're doing here. ]

Agent North.

[ her tone is clipped, irritated. she places a hand on one hip, cocking it out. ]

I'm trying to figure out where the hell I am and why. You got any useful information, or should I start in on the locals instead?

[he doesn't expect to be her favorite person, but he is more than surprised to see her here - and of course, it gives him reason enough to speak up. try to get her attention.

he can't help but to straighten his posture when she calls him agent, because he hasn't heard that specific term since he'd first found himself here.

well .. he has a little bit of information for her, at the very least.] You're on a space station called Omega. As for why you're here, exactly, I can't tell you. I don't know, myself.

[ Tex places her other hand on her hip. If he doesn't know, then maybe he just arrived as well. Because it's not possible they haven't figured something out. ]

Good of them to drop us into this without giving us so much as a map.

[ not that she needs it, but they usually at least get a destination brief. and yes, it's obvious she still thinks it's a sim. ]

Any clues why they sent us here?

[.. well if that's how she wants to think about it, sure. it doesn't matter that they've been here for a few months and haven't figured out much of anything in the way of why they're here or how they can get back to the mother of invention.

though .. he does have to snort at that.] There's a map of the station on your omni-tool.

[north. north don't make it worse north..] That's something else I've been trying to figure out. I honestly have no idea.

[ She knows she has the omni tool, the thing is visible on her wrist but she assumed it was some kind of tracking device. Instead, she raises her wrist, and like it knows that's what she wants, it springs to life. Her head moves back. ]

[ She looks back at North, lowering her arm. ]
