No, no, no, no, no, no...!

[Herb might catch a little pink-and-black haired girl pacing back and forth, muttering "No" to herself over and over, with her hands in her hair and looking very clearly distraught.]

How did this-- I mean, how did I--... Just... Where am I?!

[....welp. pink and black hair is interesting but not the weirdest thing he's seen all day. but she obviously needs some help and herb is happy to try to lend a hand.]

Hey! Hey, calm down. [he tries to assure, walking up to her with a small smile. an attempt to be friendly, surely, but he knows it can be distressing] We're on Omega- the space station. Are you ok?

[She looks up at him, already willing herself to take deeper, slower breaths in an effort not to completely and totally freak out. She runs a hand through her hair, and then ends up pulling on the ends of it - nervous tick.]

I'm okay. Well, I'm not hurt, I mean. But still, I... I don't know how I'm on -- Omega, you said? -- this place. I got on a ship to go back home, and now I'm here. [She shakes her head, a little wide-eyed.] I've never even heard of here!

[he'd put a hand on her shoulder to help her steady but she looks freaked out enough without some random stranger touching her. so he just tries to keep things cool, nice and level, because panic doesn't help anything.

he nods to her questions, still trying to smile at her even if he can't help but chuckle at how spastic she is at the moment.] Deep breaths. It'll be alright. You've never heard of Omega? It's a pretty popular space station- but it's full of illegal activity, really. I've never been here before myself.

[he tilts his head curiously at her.] Where's 'home' for you?

np, it happens.. /kicks notifs for you!

[Chuckle away, man. She's used to it. But she nods along with his explanation - doesn't even so much as blink when he mentions illegal activity (because meh, been there). No, she's having trouble with the there-are-other-space-stations part...]

Uhh... New Hold. The station. In... orbit. Wait, so where are you from?
